3. Open banking data
When you choose to connect a UK bank account, James reads transaction data so it can categorise spending, identify deductible expenses, calculate estimated Self Assessment liabilities, and support tax workflows.
4. How we use data
We use data to provide the app, secure your account, categorise transactions, calculate tax estimates, support subscriptions, improve reliability, respond to support requests, and meet legal obligations.
5. Third parties
We may use Plaid for open banking connections, Supabase for authentication and data storage, RevenueCat for subscriptions, and Sentry for error monitoring. These providers process data only where needed to deliver the service.
